More graduates have continued postgraduate education and been admitted to global elite universities, according to a recent report on the destinations of UIC's Class of 2022.
Among the Class of 2022 who confirmed placement, 84.6% have opted for postgraduate studies with 81% choosing further studies abroad. A total of 83.5% of those who preferred destinations abroad have been admitted to the world's top 100 universities.
As for the graduates who seek direct employment, 62% have chosen cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and others favoured cities like Beijing and Shanghai. Many of them have started their careers in Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and non-profit organisations.
The report managed to confirm the placement of more than 93.5% of students in the Class of 2022. The data is available as of March 2023.
