Published on 9 December 2020

Around 600 UIC staff members enjoyed a trip together to celebrate UIC's 15th Anniversary. At the Celebration Dinner cum Presentation Ceremony for President's Award and Long Service Award on the evening of 5 December, staff members were thanked for their outstanding service and devotion.

"All for One, One for All - The Happy Faces of UIC"

"UIC has much to celebrate," UIC President Prof Tang Tao said in the opening speech of the dinner party. He began by expressing gratitude to the staff members who have put hard work to organise the college retreat. He then explains that the staff party is a public thank-you to all the staff members for their dedication. President Tang explains that UIC is now nationally ranked No.6 in the ratio of graduates going on to postgraduate studies, and No.3 in terms of the graduates going overseas for further education. Nevertheless, UIC is listed in the top 100 universities with top talents. Without the people of UIC, this Liberal Arts College wouldn't come this far.
