The Government of Guangdong province recently issued an implementation plan for improving the quality of higher education in the Guangdong province (2021-2025). UIC made the list of the high-level university development plan (under the category of universities with key disciplines) of Guangdong.
A total of 13 universities were selected for the high-level university development plan. UIC, as a cooperative university with strong ties between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, was among this important list.
This indicates that UIC has improved significantly and achieved outstanding results in discipline construction, talent development, scientific and technological innovation. In the future, UIC will continue to promote the development of key disciplines and disciplines with characteristics.
UIC will further optimise the structure and management systems, with the focus on talent development, personnel, scientific research and innovation, aiming to continuously improve the college’s reputation and social influence regionally and nationally.
