The IELTS On Computer Test Centre was officially opened at UIC. It is the first computer test centre that IELTS has established in Zhuhai, the sixth in Guangdong. The Centre will hold its first test on 16 May 2022.

The IELTS computer test service has been upgraded due to the pandemic. Multiple tests can be held within a week, the registration deadline is four days before a test, and the result can be obtained three days after.

The Centre at UIC is located in T29-202 with about 250 square meters. It is equipped with 20 computer test seats, three speaking test rooms, and one spare room. All facilities and equipment meet the official IELTS standards.

UIC has been organising IELTS tests for the past seven years. This time, the official establishment of the centre will not only provide students from the college with a better test experience but will be beneficial to more from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
