Cultivated by liberal arts education, UIC students develop interests besides working on their studies. While some students advance in academia, some show talents in singing, instrumental music, dancing, painting, calligraphy and photography.
In the First Arts Season for Zhuhai College Students, UIC students have won awards in calligraphy, painting and photography contest, dance contest, traditional Chinese music performance contest, and singing contest for Zhuhai college students.
Winning works in Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Contest
UIC Yayue Orchestra won the third prize in the dancing contest with two self-choreographed dances. One is a classical dance related to a Chinese goddess, and the other is a Western China folk dance with a Dunhuang fresco theme. UIC Traditional Arts Club won an excellence award with a dance about legendary Chinese landscape painting.
