UIC recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and exchange agreement with Tecnológico de Monterrey, a prestigious private university founded in 1943 in Monterrey, Mexico.
Tecnológico de Monterrey, often recognized for its culture of entrepreneurship, work ethics, efficiency, and responsibility, has consistently delivered comprehensive programmes in Engineering, Management, Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities, and Medicine. Tecnológico de Monterrey leverages "knowledge-driven creation" and "society-driven innovation" to harness the power of research for the greater good.
Tecnológico de Monterrey has garnered global recognition for its academic excellence, innovation in education, entrepreneurship, and global vision, along with its deep engagement with industry and employers, and its high executional capability. The institution has received accolades such as the QS World University Rankings, where it ranks 184th globally in 2024.
This partnership between UIC and Tecnológico de Monterrey is set to foster academic exchange and cross-cultural understanding. The agreement will offer opportunities for students to engage in exchange programmes and other academic initiatives.
