The Western Returned Scholars Association (Overseas-educated Scholars Association of China) Zhuhai Branch organised a high table dinner at UIC on 6 January 2024, gathering around 100 talents to discuss innovative development.
Member of the Standing Committee of Zhuhai Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee Mr Guo Caiwu introduced Zhuhai’s overseas studying atmosphere and economic development. He encouraged talents to become the forces of innovation, the bridges between different cultures, and the contributors to the nation’s development.
Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, UIC President and Chairman of the Association's Zhuhai Branch Prof Tang Tao introduced UIC's educational philosophy, resources and achievements, and later delivered a speech to inspire the talents who have studied abroad to contribute to the nation's development.
