An increasing number of graduates are pursuing further studies and securing admission into prestigious universities worldwide, according to the report on the destinations of UIC's Class of 2023.
The report managed to confirm the placement of 93.18% of the 1599 students in the Class of 2023. Among the Class of 2023 who confirmed placement, 86.51% have opted for postgraduate studies with 83.42% choosing further studies abroad. A total of 84.88% of those who preferred destinations abroad have been admitted to the QS world's top 100 universities, 1.4% more than the year before, and 15.69% of them have been admitted to the world's top 10 universities and colleges, up 4.41% from a year earlier. There was also a rise in admission to the G5 Group in the UK, the Ivy League Schools in the US, two famous autonomous universities in Singapore and the Group of Eight in Australia.
Around half of the graduates who seek direct employment have chosen cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and 7 of them have been employed in Hong Kong.
