The University of Westminster, UK and UIC signed an exchange agreement on 3 June 2016. During the 2016-2017 academic year, up to 2 UIC students can apply to study at Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design (WSMAD) as well as Westminster Business School (WBS) for one semester.

The University of Westminster is a public university in London, UK. It was founded in 1838 and was the first polytechnic institution in the UK. The University has numerous centres of research with excellence across all the faculties, including the Communication and Media Research Institute, where the research is ranked in the Global Top 40 by the QS World University Ranking 2016.
