Distinguished writer Wang Meng on literature

Famous writer and former Minister of Culture of China Wang Meng lectured on literature to an UIC audience on 9 March. He discussed how information technology and new media impacted literary works. He further emphasised that literature develops people’s intellectual ability and imagination in a unique way and is irreplaceable.
