| Four international prominent writers read their poems, fictional work and other writing to the UIC audience and shared their understanding of life at the International Writers’ Workshop on 4 November. The writers were Philippine poet Richard de Ungria, Burmese essayist, short story writer and journalist Khet Mar, Irish writer Philip Ó Ceallaigh, and Taiwanese fiction and prose writer Chung Wen-yin. The workshop was sponsored by UIC’s Division of Humanities of Social Sciences Contemporary English Language and Literature Programme. |
