Prof. Tang Tao, Director of the Graduate School of HKBU visited UIC on 6th Jan 2010 and discussed further expansion and development of the 'Joint Institute of Research Studies (JIRS)' programme with Prof. S.Y. Zee, UIC Vice President, and Prof. Zhang Genfa, UIC Academic Registrar. He also spoke with some of the postgraduate students, their supervisors and post doc fellows of JIRS.
The Joint Institute of Research Studies was advocated by HKBU and UIC President Prof. Ng Ching-Fai and was founded a year ago, to enhance cooperation between HKBU and UIC in academic research.
