UIC welcomed guests from the Swiss Education Group (SEG) to campus on 14 January to sign a collaborative agreement with the Division of Business and Management (DBM) and to explore more collaborative opportunities. The distinguished guests were SEG Director of Greater China, Ms Tracy Chan and Admissions Manager of SEG in China, Ms Jacqueline Peng.

Starting off the day, the guests took a tour around the campus of UIC. They were able to see the Learning Resource Centre (LRC), the administration building, sports complex, performance theatre in addition to classrooms and buildings around the campus.

After lunch, they signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) as well as exchanging souvenirs.

After the MoU signing, the distinguished guests and UIC participants gathered in the Council Chamber for a discussion. The meeting included discussions on collaborative research lectures, faculty and scholar exchanges, exchange of undergraduate and graduate students and promoting Master programmes as well as summer programmes.
Invited UIC participants were Vice President (Academic Affairs) of UIC Prof Zhi Chen, Dean of DBM Prof Stella Cho, Associate Dean of DBM Dr Donna Chan, Associate Dean of DBM Prof Wilson Li, Director of IDO Dr Katharina Yu, Associate Director of IDO and Acting Director of CDO Ms Mei Li and Acting Director of ACE Ms Isabella Li.
