A Hall Day Forum for fourth-year students, with the theme of 'What's your life plan', was held at UIC. More than 100 students gathered together with the UIC President, teachers, and wardens to discuss their lives in the future.

Many distinguished guests attended the forum, including President of UIC, Prof Tang Tao; Party Secretary of the College Party Committee and Vice President, Prof Mao Yaqing; Chief Student Affairs Officer, Prof Johnston Hong-Chung Wong; Director of Whole Person Education Office (WPEO), Prof Guo Haipeng; Warden of Global Education Hall, Dr Shawn Tang; and Warden of Scientific Education Hall, Dr Timothy Jingjin Wu.
President Tang shared his college experience with the students. He hopes that fourth-year students could deepen their self-understanding, explore their life path before entering society. He also encouraged students to be brave in making mistakes and facing challenges, and at the same time make their contribution to the country.

In his speech, Dr Timothy Jingjin Wu, Warden of Scientific Education Hall, expressed his hope for the graduates-to-be to bravely explore new worlds. He also explained the importance of being optimistic while studying abroad. He said that although the academic path is long and lonely, students must be determined in their ideals and rise up from setbacks.

Guo Ruining shared her thoughts on behalf of fourth-year students. She believed that life is not a competition against others, but ourselves. Therefore, she hoped that everyone could cherish and live up to their college lives.
