The Division of Culture and Creativity (DCC) of UIC held the first advisory committee meeting of the 2020-2021 academic year on 28 May.


At the meeting, UIC Provost, Prof Chen Zhi, introduced to the committee members UIC's educational philosophy, faculty, student development and future plan. Subsequently, directors of DCC programmes briefed on the latest developments of the division in aspects of academic development, teaching facilities, staff and student achievements. Members of the advisory committee provided suggestions on teaching and research as well as the development of DCC's various professions.

University (HKBU) Prof Johnny Poon hosted the meeting. Associate Dean of
the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences of Hong Kong Institute
of Education, Prof Samuel Leong; Convention & Exhibition Consultant
of Guangzhou Vanke Real Estate Co., Ltd, Mr Louis Cheng; Dean of
DCC, Prof Holger Briel; Associate Dean of DCC, Acting Programme Director
of MAFTNM, Dr Jiang Wei; and other honourable guests attended the
meeting.
