This programme allowed the students to know the development and general situation of the education in Mainland China and Hong Kong, get a better understanding of the development situation in Pearl River delta region and widen their thoughts through a field trip. Improving the understanding of Chinese culture in order to cultivate their identification and sense of belonging to their country through experimental study was also an aim of this programme. In addition, the programme wanted to inspire students’ capability of self-innovation through activities as well as make them know and learn from each other through the above-mentioned activities. The final goal was to have students rethink their prospective plans via summarizing their experience during the activities.
