Published on 23 September 2016

UIC will offer students 51 available exchange seats in 19 overseas partner institutes during the 2017 Spring Semester, the International Development Office (IDO) announced.

At an information and sharing session on 13 September, students learnt that they would have opportunities to study in eight countries, including Germany, France, the US, Canada and South Korea.

New exchange destinations are open for applications. Students can attend classes at Westminster University (UK), Chungbuk National University (South Korea), Yamanashi Gakuin University International College of Liberal Arts (Japan), Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (Japan) and Mahidol University International College (Thailand).

IDO Director Dr Katharina Yu encouraged students to figure out what they want to gain from the exchange programme so they would apply for the right universities and courses.

At her sharing, Year Three Accounting student Yang Yueming said that did she not only enhanced her academic knowledge and language skills during her study at Lille Catholic University (France) last semester, but also broadened her horizon by travelling to other European countries.
