Over 100 representatives from all 2014 UIC student organisations have vowed to be servant leaders at the Inauguration Ceremony on 25 February.
Student Affairs Office (SAO) also announced the Student Leadership Path Programme for students to develop leadership through varied extra-curricular activities.
In the opening address, Vice President Prof Zee Sze-Yong spoke highly of the work student organisations did last academic year, and encouraged the new leaders to continue efforts towards further improvements.

Student representatives then swore solemnly under the supervision of Vice President Prof Zhang Cong, Dean of the Division of Business and Management Prof Stella Cho, Dean of the Division of Science and Technology Prof Stephen Chung, and Dean of the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof Mei-Hwa Sung. The Ceremony was also witnessed by the Chief of Student Affairs Prof Johnston Wong and SAO staff.

At the Ceremony SAO presented the Student Leadership Path Programme, in which students accumulate leadership points gained from different extra-curricular activities into their leadership records. Different awards will be given to recognise their participation and devotion to the betterment of the college community.
