The Third International Postgraduate Information Fair was successfully held at UIC on September 23.
The Fair, which was opened to all, attracted students from UIC and from other universities, as well as parents and adult learners. Attendees were able to talk to representatives from 25 institutions of higher education offering postgraduate courses in the USA, Australia, Britain, Canada, France, Hong Kong and Switzerland.
Advisory talks on programme curricula, entry requirements, grants and scholarships were also held by Hong Kong Baptist University, University of Western Sydney, Concordia University and other bodies. UIC alumni who are currently enrolled in postgraduate courses in Hong Kong were also invited to share their experiences.
Vice President Prof. Zee Sze-Yong said, as an English-medium liberal arts college, UIC helps students to enhance their skills in the fields of communication, problem-solving, critical and creative thinking, research ability and executive leadership. Each year, the number of UIC students who choose to continue their education overseas totals about 50%, he added.
UIC’s International Postgraduate Information Fair has been Zhuhai’s largest education fair for overseas postgraduate education for three successive years.
