Over the years, UIC faculty has been supported by various national, provincial, and municipal research funds and the Guangdong Province's Innovative University Project. With the strong support of the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government, UIC actively promotes the second-phase campus construction. The first-phase campus focuses on "humanities and business", while the second-phase campus will focus on "science and technology and postgraduates". The college will continue to strengthen talent introduction and student training to promote the country's development and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
