The forum is a traditional event held annually to create a platform for students and staff to interact and communicate.
UIC's dormitories are divided into eight Halls: Excellence Education Hall, Global Education Hall, Scientific Education Hall, Literary Education Hall, Moral Education Hall, Wisdom Education Hall, Innovative Education Hall, and Liberal Education Hall. Each hall arranges its activities from time to time. As a result, students can bond with others who share the same roof.

Wardens are usually teachers from the divisions, and the Students Affairs Office (SAO) staff play residence tutors' roles. In addition, SAO recruits senior students to engage in Hall management as resident student tutors.

Common rooms provide a space for communication
Hall culture help students to find a sense of belonging at UIC. It also promotes students' comprehensive development, enhances their capability in communication, caring for other people, and taking responsibility.
