Feng said she had planned for her further study early on and started to prepare for her future application during her first year.
By taking plenty of reading and attending elective courses, she managed to locate her area of interest and understand herself comprehensively. As a result, she was able to make up her weak points while developing her strengths.
Targets were set to fulfil her plan better, and she headed towards them determinedly.
During her second year, Feng joined a research group led by several teachers through interviews, accumulating research experience and academic knowledge.
In her third year, under the guidance of Dr Ki Ho Jun and Dr Hu Zhehua, Feng gave a presentation as the only undergraduate student at the Academy of Management (AOM) annual conference.

In the first semester of her fourth year, she reached all the required test scores for her applications and finished her research paper.
Feng expressed her gratitude towards UIC's teacher, especially to her Final Year Project (FYP) tutor Dr Tan Jiamin for her patience and detailed guidance.

Besides, by participating in various activities and events in school and internships off campus, she also accumulated a large amount of practical experience.
Being rich in experience academically as well as practically, Feng became a winner of multiple scholarships at UIC, including the First Class Award, Social Practice Scholarship and more.
When talking about her application, Feng said she completed every step independently. She advised that during the preparation, the most important thing for students to know is what makes them shine.
The characteristics of FBM are carved into Feng's personality: precise, rigorous and clear-minded. She will continue to walk on the path of glory, carrying on with the treasures she harvests from UIC.
