A delegation from Beijing Normal University (BNU) led by Party Secretary of BNU Prof Cheng Jianping, and BNU President Prof Yu Jihong visited Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) on 9 December 2025.
BNBU President Prof Chen Zhi introduced the guests to the university's development and future strategic plans. He highlighted that this year marks the university's 20th anniversary. Under the robust support and guidance of its parent institutions, BNU and Hong Kong Baptist University, BNBU has achieved transformative progress across multiple domains.

BNBU Party Secretary of the University Party Committee and Vice President (Administration) Prof Mao Yaqing, provided a detailed account of the university's educational operations and Party building work, covering its historical development, organisational structure, guiding philosophy, current progress, and future plans.

Prof Cheng acknowledged the achievements BNBU has made in recent years. He emphasised that higher education must address the fundamental question of talent cultivation, and highlighted BNBU's position as a leading institution in cooperative education.

Prof Yu affirmed BNBU's distinctive strengths in liberal arts education and internationalisation. She expressed hope that the two universities would further enhance exchanges, mutual learning and collaborative exploration in the future.
