UIC exchanges new ideas on higher education with universities

UIC has been dedicated to contributing to developing China's higher education, and promoting communications among colleges and universities.

Recently, guests from Zhengjiang Shuren University and Dongguan City University visited UIC respectively, exchanging ideas on education.

Visitors from Zhengjiang Shuren University were led by its President Prof Li Lu. President of UIC, Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences Prof Tang Tao, UIC Provost Prof Chen Zhi and more staff joined the event.

During the visit, they had a whole picture about UIC from multiple angles, including its history and educational philosophy.

An academic meeting was held, and future cooperation between the two parties was discussed and expected, especially in the field of Bioscience and Communication.

The delegation from Dongguan City University was led by its Executive Rector Prof Sean Li. UIC’s Vice President (Academic) Prof Huang Huaxiong, Vice President (Administration) Prof Mao Yaqing, Associate Vice President (Student Development) Prof Stella Cho and more guided them around the campus.

The guests learned about the College's history, the notion and practice of whole-person education, learning facilities, and equipment.

Prof Li was invited to share his understanding of innovation in college education in a meeting.

The visit promoted mutual understanding between the two schools, and they both looked forward to future collaboration in teaching and learning.
