Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) has expanded its global network by forging new partnerships with three renowned institutions: the University of the Arts London (UAL), Liverpool Hope University, and Thammasat University. These collaborations further strengthen BNBU’s international presence and create more opportunities for students and faculty to engage in cross-border learning and research.
UAL and BNBU sign institutional study abroad agreement
A new chapter in international education has begun with the signing of an Institutional Study Abroad Agreement between UAL and BNBU. This partnership bridges BNBU with a world-class institution: UAL, a world-leading arts university renowned for its elite status in fashion and a powerhouse for innovative art, design, and communication.
BNBU students will have the opportunity to study at UAL for a summer term or a full semester. This collaboration underscores both institutions’ commitment to providing transformative international learning experiences and preparing students to excel as global citizens and professionals.

BNBU signs MoU with Liverpool Hope University
The Faculty of Business and Management at BNBU has initiated a partnership with Liverpool Hope University, a prestigious public university in the United Kingdom. This collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to provide BNBU faculty and students with an expanded array of international academic opportunities.
Liverpool Hope University, based in Liverpool, England, originated from the merger of three renowned teacher training colleges: Saint Katharine's College, Notre Dame College, and Christ's College. With a strong emphasis on both research and teaching, the university has earned recognition for its high-quality education and commitment to student success.
BNBU and Thammasat University reach cooperative agreement
BNBU and Pridi Banomyong International College (PBIC) of Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand, have signed an MoU and an International Exchange Agreement.
This agreement establishes a framework for student and scholar exchanges and the sharing of academic resources. By fostering these initiatives, BNBU and PBIC aim to promote mutual learning, enhance cross-cultural understanding, and strengthen academic ties between their communities.
Founded in 1934, Thammasat University is Thailand’s second-oldest university and a distinguished institution known for its contributions to the social sciences and humanities. Established in 2008, PBIC aims to support the university’s internationalisation efforts and offers interdisciplinary programmes taught in English, fostering global engagement and collaboration.
