On24thApril, 2009, UIC Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Club was one offifteen (15) Universities participating in a Regional Competition inHong Kong. As first time's participant and meeting tough challengesfrom strong teams like past finalist's Hong Kong University,Guangdong University Foreign Studies and Guangdong University ofBusiness Studies, we are extremely delighted to share with you thatour UIC team have won the Regional Competition and qualified as oneof the finalists to the National Competition to be held in Shanghaion 22-23rd May, 2009.
InShanghai, should the team win, they will then head to Berlin inOctober 2009. The good performance in Hong Kong, would not have beenpossible without the support and assistance rendered from all partiesconcerned. To this effect, we would like to extend our heartfeltthank to the Students Affair Office, Whole Person Education Officeand all faculties who have assisted in one way or another during thecourse of the year towards the success of this project.
