There will be a piano masterclass taught by visiting Italian pianist Mr. Paolo Vairo on Thursday 24 October. This is the first piano masterclass to be held at UIC and 3 of our students from the UIC Piano Soloists programme will be performing. Please come join us if you are interested!
Paolo Vairo has acquired great recognition from audiences and music critics both in Italy and abroad as a musician of uncommon brilliance and sensitivity. He regularly tours in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, France, United Kingdom, Russia, the United States and Asia both performing in recitals and as a soloist with orchestra. Vairo holds a Terminal Degree in Piano Performance from Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Milan, Italy. He moved to Hong Kong in 2015, and as a committed piano pedagogue, founded the “Paolo Vairo European Piano Academy” (PVEPA).
