Guest Speaker information:
Professor Chung Nan Chang is a Chinese American, who received his Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics, Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. He went to Stanford University, USA for PhD in Astronautics and Physics. His research Area includes Laser Spectroscopy, Nuclear Fusion, Aerodynamics, Combustion, Membrane Chemistry and Cryptography. He was a researcher at Stanford University and a teaching staff at Santa Clara University. He is one of the founders of International Technology. He founded Polar Spring Inc. with his proprietary invention. He had filed 7 US patents and it a partner of Orion Venture Partners.
张忠柟教授，现任香港珠海学院校长，台湾学者，密码学专家，在美国拥有7项计算机密码的专利。
张校长在国立中兴大学取得应用数学学士，随后到美国史丹福大学修读硕士课程和担任研究员，及后更获得航天学及物理学博士学位。在美国留学和工作超过30 年的张校长，曾于1995 年－1997 年间，回港担任当时仍为珠海书院理工学院院长。于2002 年，他放弃了美国的工作，应邀出任珠海书院的校长直至现在。他的研究课题包括激光光谱学、核聚变、空气动力学、热力学、膜化学和密码学等。
