On 21 September 2023, UIC held a signing ceremony in cooperation with the Zhuhai Banking Association and 15 banks. The two sides will deepen cooperation on the development of banking and financial institutions and the cultivation of financial talents with outstanding moral and professional qualities.
Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the branch office in Zhuhai of the National Administration of Financial Regulation (NAFR) Wu Anping said UIC is a renowned university that upholds liberal arts education and trains students with unique skills, and the cooperation would benefit students and financial institutions mutually by providing talents and creating job opportunities.

During the ceremony, 15 banks in Zhuhai were awarded "UIC internship base" plaques and a meeting was organised for the related parties to discuss and exchange views on future cooperation. A special job fair was held at UIC the same day, offering students employment and internship opportunities.
