President Tang introduced the basic situation of UIC. As a liberal art college, he said that UIC emphasised teaching and research synergies, vigorously introduced high-end talents and cultivated students with international visions. In the future, UIC will continue to recruit excellent teachers and cultivate students in addition to deepening cooperation with Zhuhai.

Mr Huang said that before coming to Zhuhai, he had heard from high school student and parents that UIC is a popular university. The college's innovative system and internationalisation characteristics have absorbed many elite talents. He hopes UIC to grasp the development opportunities of the Greater Bay Area combined with the industrial advantage of Zhuhai in the high-tech industry.

He also hopes that UIC teachers and students will enhance the understanding of Zhuhai and Guangdong, with plenty of opportunities for talent exchange.

Mr Huang pointed out that the core of the college is knowledge, and the core of the government is to serve. Therefore, the two sides have a shared mission, which is to promote and apply knowledge.
