UIC students have recently received national awards and other prizes at creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship competitions.
Best Film
At the 14th "Chuang Xian Cup" National College Students' Film and Television Works Competition held in Guangzhou, the work of Chen Luyue, a graduate of the Cinema and Television programme of UIC in 2021, won the Best Film, the Best Story, and the Best Actress.

Innovation award
The entrepreneurial team of UIC, with the AI risk control project -- a risk control evaluation system based on big data and deep learning, won the first prize of the university group in the 7th Jingniuhui Cup Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Zhuhai High-tech Zone on 24 December 2021.

The 2021 Chinese Culture Knowledge Competition for University Students from Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan was sponsored by the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of China's Ministry of Education and organised by Fudan University. UIC students Fang Luye (Hong Kong), Li Junling (Hong Kong), and Shao Weipeng won the excellent award in the final by reciting their original poetry work.
