Published on 24 May 2022

UIC held its first Green Youth Power recognition ceremony to award students contributing to environmental protection in three categories: Green Proposal, Green Action and Green Individual Contribution. The ceremony was organised by the Whole Person Education Office (WPEO) and co-organised by the UIC Green Leaders Team.

The Green Proposal is aimed to award students who have developed outstanding projects last year and been recognised by relevant organisations. Seven winners were on the list, including the Bird's Eye View of Zhuhai Board Game, Qi'ao Mangrove Reserve Sightseeing and Conservation, UIC Eco Garden, Bird Watching Competition among Zhuhai Colleges, Masks Disposal Plan, UIC Birds Documentation, and Reduction of Disposable Waste.
