UIC held a special lunch party to celebrate the retirement of two colleagues, Managing Director for Finance and Administration Mr Nelson Chan and Assistant to President and Director of Institutional Development Office Ms Li Ningning, on 29 June 2022.

A ceremony was held, and UIC President, Member of the Chinese Academy of Science, and Fellow of European Academy of Sciences Prof Tang Tao, expressed his gratitude for their contributions to UIC in a speech.

At the ceremony, Prof Tang, UIC Provost Chen Zhi and UIC Vice President (Administration) Mao Yaqing presented gifts to Mr Chan and Ms Li.
Mr Chan joined UIC in 2011 as the Managing Director for Finance and Administration
Ms Li joined UIC in 2006 and had accompanied UIC for nearly 16 years since its foundation
Ms Li will donate one million RMB to the Sports Park leisure station project
Though the party has ended, the friendship and best memories will long live and never fade
