UIC hosted a study tour along with the Zhuhai government for a Victoria Shang Academy (VSA) delegation from 26 to 28 June 2023 as the Hong Kong high schools' study tours under the Citizenship and Social Development curriculum continue to unfold.

The students visited various facilities at UIC including the Learning Resource Centre, Sports Complex, Maths Lab and more, and experienced university courses on Chinese culture, marketing, and Guqin.
They explored tourist attractions and companies outside the campus in Zhuhai, like Space Centre and Zhuhai Grand Theatre. The event also invited Zhuhai Jiuzhou Middle School students to enhance communication between students of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Greater Bay Area.
