Uniting for progress: UIC and Lingnan Uni strengthen ties for liberal arts education

UIC welcomed a delegation led by the President of Lingnan University Prof Joe Qin. The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to promote cooperation in various areas, including student exchange, faculty exchange and scientific research collaboration.

As a prestigious institution with a long history in Hong Kong, Lingnan University strives for excellence in teaching, learning, research, and is committed to becoming a leading research-intensive liberal arts university in the digital age.

Through the signing of the cooperation memorandum, Prof Qin hopes to better combine the advantages of the two universities. He introduced the recent progress of digital innovation education at Lingnan University and looks forward to cooperation between the two universities in areas such as student exchange, discipline development, and digital education.

UIC President Prof Chen Zhi said that both universities adhere to the educational philosophy of cultivating talents through liberal arts education. He added that Lingnan University is developing rapidly and has accumulated rich experience for UIC to learn from. He hopes to carry out in-depth cooperation with Lingnan University in various fields such as faculty and talent exchange in the future.
