On 1 April 2025, BNBU hosted a 20th Anniversary Staff Celebration Dinner with the theme "Excellence-Gratitude-Collaboration", gathering the BNBU community to celebrate this milestone.
During the event, BNBU President Prof Chen Zhi reflected on the university's 20-year journey and expressed gratitude to all staff. He affirmed the university's ongoing commitment to liberal arts education and interdisciplinary development.
At the dinner, 84 members of staff were presented with Long Service Awards to recognise their contributions over 10, 15, and 20 years, respectively.
The event also included a special retirement ceremony for Prof Stella Cho, Prof Fang Kai-Tai and Prof John Corbett, celebrating their years of dedication and contribution to education.
