Recently, the BBA Accounting Programme offered by BNBU's Faculty of Business Management (FBM) has been officially accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), one of the world's leading professional accounting bodies. As a result, BNBU accounting graduates are now exempt from five of the nine exams in the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills sections of the ACCA qualification.
Founded in 1904, the ACCA is one of the most respected accounting organisations internationally, with a presence in 180 countries.
This accreditation not only recognises the professional quality of BNBU's programme, but also the university's commitment to delivering top-tier education.
The FBM accounting programme devotes to train competitive accounting professionals within global scale. In addition, ACCT has also received multiple other accreditations of authoritative professional organizations and developed in-depth collaborations with them.

More accreditations FBM has received for its accounting programme:
HKICPA Accreditation
In 2009, BNBU was the first university in Chinese mainland accredited by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). Accounting students can register for the HKICPA Qualification Programme (QP) exams in their final year, with exemptions from 10 foundation-level exams. This allows them to focus on just 4 professional-level subjects and 1 comprehensive exam to achieve full qualification.
TIHK Accreditation
In 2022, ACCT earned the accreditation from the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK), also marking the first to receive such recognition within Chinese mainland. Graduates can claim exemptions from 3 out of the 5 Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exam subjects.
CPA Australia Accreditation
In 2007, ACCT was accredited by CPA Australia, and in 2019, BNBU's postgraduate programme, Master of Accountancy, also received certification, confirming that BNBU meets the international standards.
