Cinema and Television Programme graduate student Ou Weixi received the student group MTM Spark Movie Award at the fifth Macau International Micro-Movie Festival on 12 December.
Ou’s awarding production was his final year project Standing By, which was also selected to be screened in a Taiwan movie show in June 2015.
The award ceremony of this micro-movie festival was held along with the major event, the seventh Macau International Movie Festival, and the sixth Macau International TV Festival. Renowned Chinese film director Zhang Yimou was the judging chairman of the movie festival.
The festivals were organised by the Movie-Television-Media Association of Macau.
