
Mark O'Neill, P/T lecturer with the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences, and over 120 authors from across the globe attended the Bookworm Literary Festival from 13 to 29 March in Beijing.
Mr O'Neill was born in London, educated at the University of Oxford, and has been living and working in Asia since 1978. He presented his latest work at the festival, The Second Tang Dynasty: The 12 Sons of Fragrant Mountain Who Changed China. It's a book about 12 men from Zhongshan, Zhuhai and its Tangjiawan area (the bay of the Tang family) in the late Qing and early Republican periods who changed China.
