Nobel Laureate in Chemistry visits UIC

Chemistry Nobel Prize laureate Dr Ada Yonath and Distinguished Professor of China’s 1000 Strong Programme Prof Huang Ziwei, her colleague in Zhuhai’s newly established Nobel international institute of biomedical research, visited UIC on 17 April.

They explored cooperative opportunities with the Division of Science and Technology and had a meeting with the Division’s Associate Dean Dr Karen Poon, Director of the Environmental Science Programme Dr Lee Chiu-Hong, Director of the Food Science and Technology Programme Dr Lei Bo, Assistant Professor Dr Daphne Wu and others.
