College Council of UIC held its fourth meeting on Jan. 15, 2008. Prof. Xu Jialu, UIC Council Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Prof. Zhong Binglin, President of the Beijing Normal University, Prof. Ng Ching-Fai, President of UIC as well as other council members attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the development of UIC during Academic Year 2006-2007 from the following aspects: academic programs, education philosophy, team building, promotion for student recruitment, teaching facilities development and financial analysis.
During the meeting, Prof. Xu Jialu highly regarded UIC's achievement in pioneering in China's educational reform, and extended his sincere gratitude to all UIC staff, especially Executive Vice-President Prof. Kwok Siu Tong, for their hard work in the past one year.
