Applauses and whistles were roaring, colorful bubbles were shimmering in the floodlight, but what made the night at UIC Cultural Square so exhilarating were the beautiful songs presented by UIC stars. After two preliminary rounds held earlier in November, the second UIC Campus Singing Contest came to a climax at the night of Nov. 24 with 15 candidates in the final.
The UIC Campus Singing Contest was organized by the Executive Committee of the Student Union with an aim to provide a platform for students to show their talent. In the Final, Wang Chuan and Zhu Hulian won the final champion, outperforming their rivals in all three sections - prepared song, PK and solo without accompaniment.
