The UIC student living district construction broke ground on May 30. The project will be completed and put into use in early 2008.
The student living district was designed by Mr. Wu Hongyu, General Architect of Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus. The district - “the town of Culture and Art”- is designed to accommodate 4,000 students with well-developed multifunctional living facilities. According to Mr. Wu, UIC student living district will have the following keywords: canyon, brook, square; living, art, experience; innovative, open, active.
What will be brought into UIC students’ lives by this “town of culture and art” in the peaceful canyon？We are full of expectation.
