On 23 Jan 2006, the Executive VP UIC Prof. Kwok wrote to all UIC students inviting them to capture their memory of the first semester spent on campus. For this pioneering group, it would be invaluable for this first batch of UIC students to record their feelings and notable events since October 2005. Students were invited to write to their parents, teachers and others of their choice, urging them to come and have a visit in due course. Prof. Kwok stated that it may be possible for selected letters to be compiled and published as a part of UIC history.
