President and students on campus development over lunch

A total of 18 UIC student representatives discussed the campus development and student activities with President Prof Tang Tao during a lunchtime meeting on 17 March.

After learning about how the students were using the Sports Park, President Tang encouraged them to participate in more physical exercises.

A student representative invited President Tang to their event and President Tang expressed his willingness to give a hand to students' meaningful activity.

Chief Student Affairs Officer, Prof Johnston Wong; Estates and Campus Development Office (ECDO) Acting Director, Ms Susan Liu; and Career Development Office (CDO) Acting Director, Ms Li Mei, also joined the lunch meeting.

ECDO Acting Director, Ms Susan Liu, mentioned that the office encourages students to give suggestions regarding the campus construction, and would take students' requirements and needs into account during the second-phase construction planning, including expanding student activity space.


According to the Student Affairs Office, five more lunchtime meetings will be organised this semester to provide more opportunities for students to communicate with the college.
