Recently, UIC students have received many awards in national and provincial competitions.
First prize, National College Applied Psychology Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum
Three year-three UIC students of the Applied Psychology (APSY) Programme, Zhang Zixuan, Feng An’an, and Qiu Tongyu, won the first prize in the sub-forum “Dealing with Practical Issues” under the guidance of Dr Solna Xing.

Best Director, The 29th Beijing College Student Film Festival
Chen Luyue, a UIC 2021 graduate from the Cinema and Television Programme, won the Best Director of the 22nd International College Student Film Selection in the 29th Beijing College Student Film Festival with Green Plum, which was written and directed by herself.

Before that, Green Plum also won awards, including the Best Film, the Best Story, and the Best Actress at the 14th Chuang Xian Cup, National University Film and Television Works Competition.

Third prize, College Student Computer Design Competition
Three UIC students of the Computer Science and Technology Programme: Yang Han, Tang Linchuan and Hu Yiyang, designed a work named “3D Reconstruction and Navigation of Campus Based on Robot Dog”, winning the third prize at the College Student Computer Design Competition.

Multiple prizes, The 2022 National Health Qigong Championship
UIC Health Qigong Team won the first prize in the Tai Chi Health Stick-style competition and third in the group dance competition.

In the individual competition, four students were awarded. Zhou Yiqin, a second-year majoring in Artificial Intelligence, won the second prize in the Women’s Dance competition; Xia Yudi, a second-year majoring in Statistics, won the third prize in the Women’s Yi Jin Jing competition; Li Bowen, a second-year majoring in Public Relations and Advertising, won the second prize in Men’s Ba Duan Jin competition; Zeng Jiale, a second-year majoring in Finance, won the second prize in Men’s Tai Chi Health Stick-style competition.

The woman group of the UIC Dragon Lion Dance Team won the second prize in the optional lion dance routine session.
