Life at UIC is like a kaleidoscope: Fragments of various interest clubs and student association activities form vibrant colours. Recently, UIC held a student club recruitment, helping students find their interests.

Students seek the clubs they are interested in
Among all the clubs, three stood out and were rated as the five-star student club in the 2021-2022 academic years, followed by nine other four-star clubs and 12 three-star clubs. The five-star clubs are Hsvan Pu·Sinology and History Discussion Club, UIC Soup Kitchen Charity Association, and UIC Cantonese Club.
Hsvan Pu·Sinology and History Discussion Club
Gathering all the like-minded in Sinology and History, Hsvan Pu determines to promote the traditional Chinese culture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The first poetry competition of UIC
This four-year-old academic club has been rated five stars twice. Activities like UIC's first Chinese Poetry Competition showcased members' identification with the country and culture, signifying the maturity of the club.

UIC Soup Kitchen Charity Association
UIC Soup Kitchen Charity Association gives play to the public welfare power of college students. This 13-year-old association has won the title of Five Star Club twice in the past three years.

UIC Cantonese Club
Founded in 2007, UIC Cantonese Club dedicates to promoting Cantonese and protecting Ling-nan culture. It has organised various activities to achieve the goal, including Cantonese classes, Cantonese morning dim sum event, and Cantopop singing competition, which were popular.

UIC has around 80 student clubs and associations, including 59 student interest clubs and 17 student organisations.
UIC upholds the notion of Liberal Arts Education, carries out Whole Person Education and builds a lifelong learning atmosphere. It has always been committed to improving student organisations and cultivating students' practical abilities.
