Each year, various courses at UIC held by professors from different backgrounds inspire students who want to learn more about the fields they are interested in, from culture and humanity to science and technology.
Learn Philosophy in historical stories
Associate Professor of SGE, Dr Dong Tiezhu, is known for his humorous teaching style, attracting students to join his philosophy courses to learn the thoughts at all times and all over the world critically.
Wang Zhuofan, from the 2020 cohort Media and Communication Studies programme (MCOM), enjoys Dr Dong's "The Art of Communication in Chinese Culture" course the most, learning the concept of "lies" from a brand-new aspect.
