Nearly 4,000 students took UIC Entrance Exam of the Comprehensive Evaluation System for Guangdong Admission 2019, which was held on 16 June 2019 in Guangzhou, Zhuhai (UIC campus) and Shantou. Results of the tests will be published online on 24 June.

This year, a sports exam was added to the writing and oral tests. UIC intends to enroll 407 students via the Comprehensive Evaluation System from Guangdong province, including 169 students in arts and 269 students in the sciences.

The year 2019 marks the 7th consecutive year that UIC has implemented the innovative Comprehensive Evaluation System in Guangdong Province, during which the results of the National College Entrance Examination makes up 60% of the total score. The result of UIC entrance exam makes an additional 30% and the senior high school proficiency test gives the final 10%.
New students will be enrolled from other 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions of mainland China, and these students have to get Band One (first class) scores on the National College Entrance Examination.
In addition, UIC enrols students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas.
