An international conference titled ‘Transportation Law on the move: Challenges in the modern logistics world’ was held in Lucerne, Switzerland by the Centre for Logistics and Transport Law at the University of Lucerne from 25 to 26 April. Associate Professor in the Division of Business and Management (DBM) Dr Sik Kwan Tai attended the conference, and shared his knowledge under his lecture called: ‘A view on Chinese Transportation Law’.

At this conference, they identified the current challenges in modern transportation and then proceeded to discuss the future developments in transportation law and logistics. Experts in their respective field shared specific views on the different modalities followed by key topics, and concluded with an exchange of knowledge.

Dr Tai is an expert in transport law, as seen in his research titled: ‘The Great Leap of Chinese Maritime Law’. At the conference, he displayed his knowledge by informing the audience of Chinese Transportation Laws. One of the objectives of the conference was to acknowledge any problems and solutions in challenging environments in order to adapt to the requirements of modernised supply chains, and Dr Tai was able to share his perspective of Chinese Transportation regulations.
